Protest this Saturday, Nov 10, 2007 at City Hall, San Francisco , 2:00PM
So far PTI, PPP, PML(N), A.N.S.W.E.R (an anti-war group in bay area and Friends of South Asia, Amnesty International have agreed to join us for the protest and get their members out.
If you are interested, or/and know of any groups or individuals who can help or join us in this effort, please get involved.
This would be an opportunity for like-minded anti-war people to demo against Bush regime policies of promoting pliable dictatorships in the world, in the name of "Freedom Agenda".
Our demands are:
1. We demand that the martial law be lifted,
2. 1973 constitution be restored
3. Free and fair elections be held ASAP (so that the Pakistanis may have a representative democracy and agovernment accountable to its people)
4. Restoration of fired Supreme court and high court judges
5. We also demand that the US government must stop supporting General Musharraf and must support pro-democracy forces in Pakistan
