Subject: [PIPFPD] Appeal to the Peace Lovers of Utter Pradesh / Kanpur
Dear Peace Lovers,
You make be aware that the members of Maharashtra and West Bengal have already conducted demonstrations at Church Gate, Bombay and Rabindra Sadan, Kolkatha. Now there is an opportunity waiting for the members from Kanpur.
Taking advantage of the Cricket Match between India and Pakistan at Kanpur, I make the following REQUEST to the members from the Indian State of Utter Pradesh, particularly from Kanpur:
Please watch the Match at the Cricket Ground, instead of through TV
Have some sort of banners in hand.
When ever, Good Performance is exhibited by the players from Pakistan raise the appropriate banners. I suggest the following:
1. When ever RUNs are scored by the Pakistani Players, rise the banner - DEMOCRACY IS BETTER THAN A RUN
2. When any of the Pakistani Players Score FOUR, rise the banner - FREEDOM OF PRESS IS BETTER THAN A FOUR
3. When any of the Pakistani Players Score SIXER, rise the banner - RESTORING JUDICIARY SYSTEM IS BETTER THAN A SIXER
4. When any of the Pakistani Players takes a WICKET , rise the banner - A WICKET IS NO BETTER THAN RESTORING THE 1973 CONSTITUTION
5. When any of the Pakistani Players is OUT, rise the banner - OUT OF THE GAME IS BETTER THAN INVOLVEMENT OF ARMED FORCES IN POLITICS.
Please be creative in designing the banner with appropriate words. Cricket Matches are good place to show our solidarity with the Human Rights Activists fighting our the Civil Rights in Pakistan. I am sure we would get a good media coverage, when we rise our banners in Cricket Ground.
Please alert the other Social Activist of Kanpur and make our solidarity with the Civil Rights Activists of Pakistan up in the air at the Cricket Ground at Kanpur.
